Diary of a Novel #2 - Romance

September now, and we're nearing the anniversary of the book's conception. The last time we met here, I told you about plot holes (or gaps). Since then, I've been on holiday to sunnier climes, and I've done some work on that chapter. The one that has been the lynchpin of the whole re-development of the novel. The holiday romance chapter. That's literally what it's called (until I give it a proper title). It's still in development, but it sure has been fun (and eye-opening) writing Evie and Elmley at the point where they first meet.

In other news, I've finally written a synopsis. The whole plot is mapped out, and although the synopsis in its current form will only ever be read by me, it feels like progress to have it done. I have also put together some promo images that I will share on my socials once I decide whether or not it's a bit premature given how much of the book is left to write!
