Original Chapter

October now. Time marches on. In the spirit of not forgetting this website and letting it go to rack and ruin (a 17th century phrase, if you're interested), I thought I better add a new post.

So, this chapter is from the original version of the novel. It doesn't appear in the new version (in fact, it includes a character who doesn't feature at all anymore), so this is something I feel safe sharing! It was one of the very first things I wrote when I first began Time Unravellers, as I felt like I ought to have an exciting incident early on. Turns out, the phrase is actually "inciting incident", which refers to an event that kick-starts the story. This chapter doesn't do that.
